I was born February 1, 1966, in Phildephia. I have lived here my whole life there is NO place like Philly. I was introduced to music by my mother and step-father who listened to Philly’s top radio station WDAS, which was a number one station at the time. It wasn’t until my 13th birthday that by listening to the radio and watching Soul Train, that I developed my own style and flair that would lead me to being the DJ I am today. In the beginning, I started locally with Dr.Diesel, getting into parties and showing my b-boy dance skills. I broke into being a DJ by making "pause-button tapes." As I got older I joined a small DJ group with a couple of fellas, but never thought it could go anywhere.
Until a few years ago I met back up with Dr. Diesel as the hype man for various functions. I was back with a new vengeance, DJing for friends, family, weddings, and many other affairs.. It wasn’t until friends and family encouraged me to step out and go further that I started thinking I could do this on my own. It wasn't until I was listening to Michael Baisden and others that I thought about doing radio. So when an old friend suggested me for a spot on Starlineradio's line up, I knew I had to look into it. I realized then, that this is my shot. I humbly thanked the heavens, put together Spydr's Speakeasy and now I'm going to do my best to ride the star line for as long as it burns.
